NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Graduate student
Marissa Lombardi placed third for the JWU (Providence) women's cross country team at the 2024 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship Saturday at Norwich University. The Wildcats secured 93 points to place third behind Colby-Sawyer (53 points) and Emmanuel (MA) (83 points).

Lombardi completed the 6k course in 25:02.9 to earn GNAC First Team honors. Junior

Ben Finnigan in 15th place with a time of 26:35.8, followed by sophomore
Piper-Jean Ferguson in 20th place (27:04.1), sophomore
Aubrey Webb in 26th place (27:22.1), and junior
Allison Borduin in 30th place (27:58.3).
Freshman
Molly McCarthy posted a time of 28:55.6, which was good for 53rd place. She was followed by sophomore
Lily Pagano in 49th place (30:32.3) and sophomore
Yvette Lauzon with 58th place (31:21.7).
