NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. – The JWU (Providence) women's cross country team placed 21st at the UMass Dartmouth Cross Country Invitational Saturday morning on the campus of UMass Dartmouth.

Lulani Haslinger paced JWU through the 6K course with a time of 23:47.84 – good for 100th overall. Sophomore
Caroline Carter was next for JWU in 120th place with a time of 24:19.27, followed by freshman
Josie Spaulding in 145th place (24:59.11).
Senior
Avery Goshert placed 150th for head coach
Ben Finnigan (25:05.25), followed by senior
Allison Borduin in 248th place (28:44.43) and freshman
Lily Hurst in 260th place (29:56.04).
"This was a pretty good performance for us," said Finnigan. "Our top five average of 25:23 is the fastest in program history. We had good performances from our veterans as well as our two freshmen, Josie and Lily. Additionally, our top four runners all finished with times that rank among the best in program history over a 6k course."
