SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The JWU (Providence) women's cross country team placed seventh at the WNE Golden Bear Invitational Saturday morning.

Lulani Haslinger was the top finisher for the Wildcats with a time of 23:29.67 – good for seventh overall on the 6k course. Freshman
Josie Spaulding was next in 10th place with a time of 24:04.31 while senior
Avery Goshert was next in 12th place at 24:12.23.
Senior
Allison Borduin finished 86th overall (28:19.01), followed by freshman
Lily Hurst (106th place, 29:18.54), sophomore
Madelyn Andresen (116th place, 29:56.35), and junior
Yvette Lauzon (130th place, 31:52.67).
"This was a really good meet for us," said head coach
Ben Finnigan. "Lulani set a new school record in the 6k, and both Josie and Avery moved into fifth/sixth place with their times. We finished ahead of a lot of good programs despite competing without one of our top runners."
