PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The JWU (Providence) men's soccer team has moved up two spots to No. 6 in the
United Soccer Coaches (USC) NCAA Division III – Region I rankings.
Coming off the heels of a 5-0 win over Dean College on Homecoming weekend, the Wildcats ran their unbeaten streak to 10 with a 2-0 win over Roger Williams on Monday afternoon in Bristol, R.I.
Graduate student and reigning Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Offensive Player of the Year
Aidan Bagley leads the Wildcats in both goals (six) and points (14). Senior
Conner Elliott is next with four goals and three helpers, followed by junior
Carlos Andrade with nine points (3-3-9). Senior
Declan Caster boasts a 7-1-1 record with a 0.63 goals against average (GAA) and an .872 save pct.
Tufts University sits atop the poll, followed by Middlebury, Amherst, Connecticut College, and Williams. Western Connecticut State and UMass Boston rounded out the top eight.
JWU heads to Chicopee, Massachusetts on Wednesday, October 9 for a 7 p.m. match with Elms.
