PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The JWU (Providence) men's soccer team saw its 2025 season come to a close with a 2-0 loss to Endicott College Saturday afternoon in the quarterfinals of the Conference of New England (CNE) Tournament at Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex.
The No. 3 seed Wildcats – who outshot the Gulls by a slim 8-7 margin – finish the season with an 8-6-4 record. Endicott's Sam Cochran scored his first two goals of the season, the first of which came less than six minutes into the match and stood as the game-winner.
Leading 1-0 at the half, Endicott (10-7-2) remained on the defensive for the majority of the second half and was outshot 6-4. Eight different Wildcats took one shot in the match, however only two were on net – one each from junior
Befi Wanimbo and another from freshman
Ryan Alves.
