Wildcats dealt 2-0 season-ending loss by Endicott

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The JWU (Providence) men's soccer team saw its 2025 season come to a close with a 2-0 loss to Endicott College Saturday afternoon in the quarterfinals of the Conference of New England (CNE) Tournament at Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex.

The No. 3 seed Wildcats – who outshot the Gulls by a slim 8-7 margin – finish the season with an 8-6-4 record. Endicott's Sam Cochran scored his first two goals of the season, the first of which came less than six minutes into the match and stood as the game-winner.

Leading 1-0 at the half, Endicott (10-7-2) remained on the defensive for the majority of the second half and was outshot 6-4. Eight different Wildcats took one shot in the match, however only two were on net – one each from junior Befi Wanimbo and another from freshman Ryan Alves.

Junior goalkeeper Alexander Nardolillo capped his first season as the starter in goal for head coach David Kulik with four saves.
