PROVIDENCE, R.I. – JWU (Providence) Director of Athletics Dana Garfield has announced the hiring of
Will Zukauskas as the Facilities & Operations Manager.
Zukauskas comes to JWU from Salve Regina University, where he spent the past year as the head equipment manager. He oversaw the equipment needs of 18 Division III programs, including ordering, organization, and distribution. Zukauskas also assisted with game management responsibilities and supervised a number of work-study students in the athletic department.
"Will brings a professionalism and attention-to-detail to Johnson & Wales, and we are delighted to have him," said Assistant Director of Athletics Pete DiVito. "His calling card is organization and we are already seeing improvements around our facilities in just his first few days on campus. We are quickly learning that Will is a self-starter and constantly looking for ways to make Johnson & Wales better."
Zukauskas made previous stops at both William & Mary (2021-22) and Stevens Institute of Technology (2022-23) before landing in Newport. He broke into collegiate athletics working for the W&M football program, where he maintained the inventory of all football equipment and oversaw both distribution and repair. Zukauskas then worked with 23 Division III programs at Stevens, executing all equipment operations, laundry services, and apparel ordering.
A 2013 graduate of Endicott College, Zukauskas is a part-time hockey official and former lacrosse and football coach at both the high school and collegiate level. He went on to receive his master's degree Higher Education Personnel Administration from Kaplan University in 2015.
