Of Note:

JWU raced out to an early lead with a three run 1st inning that included the third homerun of the season for senior Kevin Duffy. The visitors tacked on a run in the 4th and five in the 5th which included EJ Leone's first career homerun that pushed JWU out to a 9-0 lead thru five full. Patrick Fleming laced a two-run double in the 6th before the Wildcats grabbed a pair of unearned runs and edged the Bulldogs 13-1 in the opening contest. Ryan Depatie went the distance for Coach Casey's Wildcats spinning seven strikeouts and allowing just one earned run for his fourth win of the season, a new career best.

Senior Colby Greenhalgh smacked a double to right center to begin the scoring in game two and gave JWU a 2-0 lead. The host Bulldogs answered with a four run (two unearned) 3rd to take a 4-2 lead after three. The Wildcats took the lead in the 5th when Raimiel Rodriguez connected for an opposite field jack that scored three runs and put his team up 5-4. A trio of miscues in the bottom of the 6th plated a pair of unearned runs off of Wildcats starter Steve Rocchio and helped secure the 6-5 victory for Dean. Rodriguez has now homered in four of his last thirteen at-bats and leads the conference in the category heading into the final week of the regular season.
