How did JWU help prepare you for your current position - JWU assisted in preparation for my current position by showing me the importance of your attitude in any situation is just as necessary as the technical skills you have. Be "coachable"! Whether it be sports or in the kitchen personally, to have respect and trust  for your leaders will make you open for critiques and ultimately will make you stronger.

Favorite JWU memories - Some favorite JWU memories include attending the beautiful Newport Grass Tournaments. Our women's team was absolutely a blast, I have made lifelong friends- Tammy Saunders- Laura Shwenk- to name just a few. 

Being part of some of the first classes in the stunning new culinary center was incredible. Walking into those classes overlooking the river- there's no place like it.  

Advice for current student athletes - One of the best things you can do for yourself would be to stay with the program throughout your college career. The friendships, memories, and overall team skills stay with you even when you move on and graduate. The practice of even continuing to exercise, are all benefits to your future wellbeing. It all changes so quickly, just enjoy the moments, practices, matches- you will miss it.
