PLYMOUTH, Mass. – Bolstered by great performances from both the A and B boats, the Johnson & Wales University sailing team won the O'Toole Trophy on Sunday, hosted by Mass Maritime.

The B boat, captained by Thomas Pluchino (Centerport, N.Y.) with Caoilinn Boyle (Plymouth, Mass.) serving as the crew, won the event with eight points. They finished no lower than second in any race and won the third and four races.

Just a point behind was the A boat with captain Peter Sterflinger (Centerport, N.Y.). Hans Bengtson (Cumberland, RI) was the crew for the first eight races and Elyssa Ternay (Hudson, Ohio) handled the responsibilities for the final two races. They won the first four races.
