The baseball team traveled to Connecticut for a double dip with the Falcons of Albertus Magnus and left victorious in both contests. JWU won game one 9-3 and game two 9-5.

A Falcons one run lead heading into the top of the third was quickly erased as Lou Umberto (Cranston, R.I.) scored on a wild pitch to tie the game, 1-1. Umberto knocked in a run in a seven-run seventh for the Wildcats while Andrew Huntron (Monroe, N.Y.) picked up a bases-clearing triple in the inning to propel JWU to an 8-1 lead. Tyler Graziano smacked a double to right scoring two in the sixth for AMC before the Wildcats tacked on a run in the top of the seventh to secure the 9-3 win.

In game two, a miscue by the host Falcons sent two runs across the plate in the fourth inning to tie the game at 3-3 before Brandon Cesino (Scituate, R.I.) hit a ground ball to the Albertus shortstop that was misplayed, scoring Greg Joubert (Cumberland, R.I.) to give JWU the 4-3 lead. In the home half of the fourth, the Falcons used RBI singles by Tyler Robertson and Justin Poirier to take back their one-run lead. JWU tied the game in the next half inning before a Mark Kerwin run-scoring single in the top of the sixth pushed the Wildcats ahead for the final time. Three insurance runs crossed in the top of the seventh en route to the 9-5 victory in the nightcap.

Brandon Rainville (Cumberland, R.I.) earned the complete game victory in game one while Nick Cesino (Scituate, R.I.) grabbed the win in relief in game two.
