Box Score 2 Amherst posted a perfect 4-0 record to notch a first-place finish at the 2014 Johnson & Wales University Wildcat Classic, held this weekend at the Wildcat Center. Keene State notched a second place finish with a 2-2 mark while host Johnson & Wales also had a 2-2 mark for the weekend for a third-place finish. Amherst freshman Marialexis Natsis (Los Angeles, Calif.) earned Most Outstanding Player of the Tournament.
Johnson & Wales senior Alyssa Drapeau (Biddeford, Maine) and junior Kellen Tensen (New Canaan, Conn.) earned spots on the All-Tournament team.
The Wildcats are now 3-6 on the season and will return to action on Saturday, September 20th when they travel to St. Joseph's of Maine for a Great Northeast Athletic Conference contest at 1:00 p.m.
