Wildcats roll past Bison, 3-0

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Sophomore Nevaeh Arnold recorded nine kills (.467 hitting pct.) for the JWU (Providence) women's volleyball team in a 3-0 win over Nichols College Wednesday night in Conference of New England (CNE) action at the Wildcat Center. The Wildcats won 25-10, 25-13, 25-21.

Eight different student-athletes recorded at least one kill for the Wildcats (13-8, 4-4 CNE), including freshman Vivi Mansfield (six), senior Ajie Jagne (five), sophomore Bailey Koopman (three), senior Katelyn O'Brien (three), and freshman Brooke Caquelin (three).

Freshman Sophia Santacroce tallied 17 assists and three service aces while sophomore Olivia Immel notched five helpers to go with three digs. Junior Carlie Tretera and freshman Trinity Ricevuto each picked up a team-high six digs for a JWU squad which finished the match with a .296 hitting pct., highlighted by a .500 clip in the first set.
