Seniors Sebastian Bermudez (Wappingers Falls, N.Y.) and Joe
Ferraro (Freehold, N.J.) were tabbed as All-Great Northeast
Athletic Conference performers, announced by the league office
after a vote by the coaches.
Bermudez was one of the top midfielders in the GNAC, controlling
the action for the Wildcats the entire season and making an
immediate impact on the squad in his first and only year on the
team. He started all 18 games on the season and tallied one
assist for one point.
A standout in goal for four seasons at JWU, Ferraro earned
second-team all-conference accolades. For the year he posted
a 2.14 goals against average and a .752 save percentage. In
18 games, he played nearly every minute in net while posting four
shutouts.
The Wildcats finished the 2010 campaign with a 4-12-1 overall
record and a 3-5-1 mark in league play.
