NEWPORT, R.I. – The JWU (Providence) women's soccer program dropped a 2-0 decision at Salve Regina University Wednesday night in non-conference action at Toppa Field.
The Wildcats (2-5-1) – who were outshot 10-7 – allowed a pair of goals to Sienna Mastroianni, one midway through the first half and another less than eight minutes into the second half.

Emma Potter paced JWU with two shots. Senior and Conference of New England (CNE) Defensive Player of the Week
Ava Vaughan got the start in goal and was lifted in favor of first-year
Samantha Rodes at the start of the second half. Each keeper recorded one save.
