Anna Button scored the game-tying goal late in the second half to give the JWU (Providence) women's soccer team a 1-1 tie with Suffolk University in Conference of New England (CNE) action Saturday night at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex.

Ava Vaughan tallied 11 saves in goal for the Wildcats (2-4-1, 1-0-1 CNE), who outshot the Rams 10-8 over the final 45 minutes in a match which saw each school record 13 shots.
Suffolk grabbed the lead 12:26 into the match on a goal off the foot of Avery Porter. The visitors maintained their one-goal advantage until the 76th minute when Button collected a loose ball in the box and knocked in her third goal of the season.
Button led all student-athletes with four shots while senior captain
Jessica Lee was credited with two.
