DUDLEY, Mass. – Senior Jack Obert went 2-for-2 with an RBI single in the first for the JWU (Providence) baseball team in a 4-1 loss to Nichols College Tuesday afternoon in Conference of New England (CNE) action at the Nichols Baseball Field.

The Plymouth, Massachusetts native collected two of the Wildcats six hits on the afternoon. The visitors carried the lead into the seventh when the Bison struck for four runs to drop JWU to 2-5 in conference play.

Junior Dylan Young held the Nichols bats quiet through six before running into trouble in the seventh. He finished the afternoon allowing eight hits and three runs with no walks and seven strikeouts.
