Jack Dwyer ripped a three-run double to propel the JWU (Providence) baseball team to a 9-4 win over Nichols College Tuesday afternoon in Conference of New England (CNE) action at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex.

Yedan Diaz each picked up three hits and drove in two runs as the Wildcats improved to 4-9 in conference play (11-20 overall) and remained alive for a playoff berth.

Jeremy Auren to push the Wildcat lead to 6-3 before Dwyer's bases-clearing double in the sixth capped the scoring.

Dylan Young notched his second win of the season as he allowed four hits and four runs (two earned) with one walk and six strikeouts. Sophomore
