PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Redshirt senior
Ryan Ducey smacked a two-run home run and drove in five for the JWU (Providence) baseball team in a 15-10 loss to the University of Hartford Tuesday afternoon in Conference of New England (CNE) action at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex.
Ducey finished the afternoon with three hits and senior
Jack Obert also left the yard – his seventh round tripper of the season – and drove in three for the Wildcats (8-19, 2-8 CNE), who led 5-1 after two before the Hawks put up two in the third, five in the fourth and seven in the fifth to claim a 15-5 lead.

Diego Taveras plated a run with an infield single in the fifth and freshman
Dimitri Staphos – who finished with three hits – drove in another with a single in the sixth.
Junior
Dylan Young lasted 3.2 innings and allowed eight hits and seven runs to fall to 1-5 on the season. JWU committed four errors.
Hartford finished the afternoon with 16 hits and improved to 13-9-1 (7-2 CNE).
