Morgan Pelletier drove in six runs for the JWU (Providence) softball team in a doubleheader against Endicott College Monday afternoon in Conference of New England (CNE) action at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex.
Game One: Gulls 13, Wildcats 9 (8 inn.)
Pelletier singled in the game-tying run in the bottom of the seventh to force extras, where the Gulls pushed across four runs in the eighth to take game one. Pelletier also smacked a two-run home run and first-year

Chloe Brunelle tallied her first collegiate home run as the Wildcats recorded 12 hits. Bergeron, meanwhile, finished the opener with three hits and three runs scored and senior
Mady Lyons also picked up two hits. Junior
Madi Wong took the loss as she allowed five hits and seven runs (three earned) in two innings of work.
Game Two: Gulls 14, Wildcats 8
JWU jumped out to a 7-1 lead after two behind an RBI double off the bat of Bergeron, a three-run home run from Lyons and a two-run jack by Pelletier. Endicott came back with three in the third, seven in the fourth, and one in the fifth to open up a 12-7 advantage. Lyons helped cut the deficit to four with an RBI single in the sixth, but the Gulls threw up two more runs in the seventh to help secure the win. Lyons home run was the 29th of her career, tying her with Emily Gorecki (2014-17) for the JWU program-record. Junior
Brianna Ghilardi suffered the loss, surrendering eight hits and nine runs (eight earned) with two walks and three strikeouts in 3.1 innings of work.
