Jack Donnelly and freshman
Alex Spada each registered a goal and an assist for the JWU (Providence) men's lacrosse team in a 16-7 loss to Nichols College Saturday afternoon in Conference of New England (CNE) action at Vendetti Field.
Junior
Jack Davis added a pair of goals for the Wildcats, who also saw received a goal from sophomore
Greyson Doyle and assists from junior
Jacob Graham, sophomore
Jacob Tresser, and freshman
Eddie Stradowski.
Donnelly scored twice in the opening quarter to help JWU to a 4-3 lead after one. The Bison (6-4, 2-0 CNE) finished the contest scoring 13 of the next 16 goals – seven of which came in the second quarter – to pull away for the win.
Senior
Thomas Haggerty won 12-of-21 at the X and notched six ground balls. Juniors
Trevor Reid and
Jake Inzirillo each caused three turnovers and freshman goalkeeper
Tom Packer was credited with 16 saves.
