Alex Spada racked up three points to propel the JWU (Providence) men's lacrosse team to the first Conference of New England (CNE) win in program history, a 10-7 triumph over Curry College Tuesday night at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex.
Spada potted two goals and added an assist for the Wildcats (2-5, 1-2 CNE), who outscored the Colonels 6-2 in the second half to snap a three-game losing skid. Junior

The Colonels (2-8, 0-3 CNE) took a 5-4 lead with four seconds remaining in the second quarter. Goals from Tresser and Donnelly 2:16 apart early in the third gave JWU a 6-5 lead. After the visitors tied the game at 5:28 of the third, freshman
Eddie Stradowski netted the eventual game-winner 42 seconds later to stake the Wildcats to a 7-6 lead.

Thomas Haggerty won 14-of-19 at the X and finished with nine ground balls while Donnelly recorded seven and Davis notched five.
