Women's Lacrosse falls to Colorado College

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The JWU (Providence) women's lacrosse team was defeated by Colorado College 19-3 Sunday afternoon in non-conference action at Washburn Field.

Senior Mila Kuilan, sophomore Kelsey Higgins, and freshman Rhya Saloom scored goals for the Wildcats while freshman Cassie Burke collected a team-high six ground balls. Kuilan and freshman Riley Shepley both registered an assist, and Burke and sophomore Susannah Brown each caused two turnovers.

Freshman goalie Carley Cook recorded nine saves in her second collegiate outing.

The Tigers outshot the Wildcats 26-8 and won 16-of-22 draw controls.
