PAWTUCKET, R.I. – The JWU (Providence) men's ice hockey team was defeated by Wentworth Institute of Technology 3-0 Friday night in Conference of New England (CNE) action at Lynch Arena.

Jake Inzirillo turned aside 30 shots for the Wildcats (6-12-1, 4-10-0 CNE), who were outshot 33-21 and went 0-for-3 with the man advantage. The Leopards dominated the face-off circle all night, winning 37-of-60 draws (62 pct.).
Wentworth (5-14-1, 4-11-0 CNE) scored the only goal it would need 9:54 into the second on Seth Robinson's second goal of the season. The Leopards added two more in the third, the last of which came on the power play.
