PAWTUCKET, R.I. – The JWU (Providence) men's ice hockey team was defeated by Wentworth Institute of Technology 3-0 Friday night in Conference of New England (CNE) action at Lynch Arena.

Junior Jake Inzirillo turned aside 30 shots for the Wildcats (6-12-1, 4-10-0 CNE), who were outshot 33-21 and went 0-for-3 with the man advantage. The Leopards dominated the face-off circle all night, winning 37-of-60 draws (62 pct.).

Wentworth (5-14-1, 4-11-0 CNE) scored the only goal it would need 9:54 into the second on Seth Robinson's second goal of the season. The Leopards added two more in the third, the last of which came on the power play.

Junior Harout Torosian was one of seven Wildcats with two shots.
