Sidney Mayers and
Riley Shepley each scored five goals in their first collegiate game to propel the JWU (Providence) women's lacrosse team to a 15-8 win at Wellesley College Tuesday afternoon in non-conference action at Butler Stadium.

Cassie Burke added three goals of her own for the Wildcats, who also received two goals and two assists from sophomore
Kelsey Higgins. Freshman
Bailey Paige registered two helpers as JWU outshot the Blue 34-12.
Mayers also won 10 draw controls and caused a pair of turnovers while freshman
Keira Donegan tallied a team-leading three caused turnovers. Cook and sophomore
Susannah Brown each collected two ground balls.
The Wildcats held a 6-2 lead after one and carried a 9-5 advantage into halftime. Three goals from Mayers in a span of 90 seconds in the third stretched the visitors lead to 12-5.
