PAWTUCKET, R.I. – Sophomore Bret Beale scored his first goal of the season for the JWU (Providence) men's hockey team in a 3-1 loss to Anna Maria College Friday night in non-conference action at Lynch Arena.

Freshmen Roman Wainwright and Brad Guden picked up assists on the goal for the Wildcats (3-6-1), who were outshot 33-23. Junior Jake Inzirillo turned aside 30 shots between the pipes for JWU.

Max Wennerberg scored twice for the AMCats, including the game-winner just 1:21 after Beale tied the game at one with a snap shot from the left circle on the PP.

Senior Davis Bone won 15-of-25 face-offs and junior Joe Freeman was credited with a team-high four blocked shots.
