Silas Sawtelle scored a career-high 21 points for the JWU (Providence) men's basketball team in a 79-63 loss to the University of Hartford Tuesday night in Conference of New England action at the Wildcat Center.
The Collinsville, Connecticut native knocked down four triples and also snared four rebounds for the Wildcats (1-12, 0-4 CNE), who shot 34 percent (21-of-61) and were outrebounded 56-33 – including 23-10 on the offensive glass.

Omar Grullon dropped in 10 points in 35 minutes. Graduate student
Dylan Hooter collected seven points and six rebounds, and junior
Alvin Baez pulled down a team-leading nine rebounds.
Hartford sank 41 percent of its shots in the first half to build a 10-point halftime lead. The Hawks grew their lead to as many as 24 in the second half as 11 different student-athletes scored at least two points.
