WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – Sophomore
Brianne Foley filled the stat sheet with 17 points, nine rebounds, three steals and two dimes in a 69-55 win for the JWU (Providence) women's basketball team over Hartford University Saturday afternoon in Conference of New England (CNE) action at Chase Family Arena.

Isabella Suero and
Mya Jiminez each threw in 15 points as the Wildcats moved to 16-4 on the season (10-1 CNE) and took sole possession of first place with the win. Sophomore
Mia Cruz chipped in with six points, seven assists, and three boards while Jiminez snared seven rebounds of her own and freshman
Tahlia Peña scored seven points.
Foley led all student-athletes with those nine rebounds, and freshman
Julia Blum pulled down eight to go with five points. The Wildcats canned 11 triples and finished the afternoon shooting 41 pct. from downtown as Jiminez and Foley each made three, and both Suero and Cruz had a pair.
JWU also shot 80 percent from the charity stripe (10-of-12) and outrebounded the Hawks 40-31. It led 40-25 at the half and stretched its lead to 18 points (53-35) after three quarters of play.
