Bret Beale scored a pair of goals – including the game-winning goal in the third – to lift the JWU (Providence) men's ice hockey team to a 3-2 win over Nichols College Tuesday evening in Conference of New England (CNE) action at Levy Rink.

The Bison 7-8-0 (4-6-0 CNE) opened the scoring with a PP goal 13:20 into the first before Beale's third goal in as many games this season with 34 seconds remaining tied the game at one after one.
Nelson's team-leading 11th of the season 37 seconds into the second gave the visitors a 2-1 lead. The Bison tied the game less than six minutes later, which set the stage for Beale to pot the game-winner at 12:28 of the third.
