SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The JWU (Providence) women's volleyball team dropped its first match of the season on Friday night with a 3-1 setback to SUNY Oneonta in non-conference action at the Williamson Sports Center.

Vivi Mansfield paced the offense with 10 kills each as the Wildcats lost 25-27, 25-22, 22-25, 19-25. Three student-athletes reached double-digits in digs as senior

Sophia Santacroce (12), and junior
Kelsie Tretera (10) anchored the defense.
Santacroce also handed out a team-high 21 assists while sophomore
Bailey Koopman filled the stat sheet with eight kills, five aces, four blocks and two digs. JWU – which posted a .286 hitting pct. in their second set victory – finished the match at .105.
