Sofia Soares collected a goal and an assist for the JWU (Providence) women's soccer team in a 5-2 win at Bridgewater State University Wednesday night at Mazzaferro Field.

Marcie Iannico registered her first goal of the season for the Wildcats (1-1-0), who rallied from an early 2-0 deficit to score five unanswered goals over the final 70 minutes of the match. Junior

Jessica Lee added one as JWU outshot the Bears 16-8.
The Bears (0-2-0) struck for two goals in the opening 16:36 before Soares scored at 20:13 to bring the Wildcats to within one at the half. Garr's first marker of the match 2:18 into the second half knotted the game at two and Iannicco potted the eventual game-winner at 69:12.

Ava Vaughan entered the match at the start of the second half and made two saves and moved to 1-1-0 with the win.
