CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The JWU (Providence) women's soccer team was upended by No. 6 MIT 3-0 Wednesday night in non-conference action at Roberts Field.

Kyla Stamilio combined to make eight saves as the Wildcats moved to 1-2-1 on the season. The national-ranked Engineers (5-0-0) outshot the visitors 20-3 and held a 7-0 edge in penalty kicks.
MIT scored the only goal it would need 2:25 into the match and finished the half with an 8-1 shots advantage. Two second-half goals in less than eight minutes out the match out of reach for JWU.
