Madeleine Gould and junior
Mila Kuilan combined for 11 goals and 19 points in a 24-2 win for the JWU (Providence) women's lacrosse team over Elms College Tuesday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex.
Gould (4-7-11) and Kuilan (7-1-8) were two of the nine student-athletes who collected at least one point for the Wildcats, who improved to 8-3 on the season (6-1 GNAC). Senior
Neely Connor collected six points (5-1-6) while junior
Izzy Babb tallied five points (2-3-5) and senior
Isabella Nugent went for four (2-2-4).
Nugent won 10 draw controls to pace JWU, which received six ground balls from Conner and four from both Gould and freshman
Ava Wacha, who also picked up a goal and an assist. Senior goalie
Emma Glyman made 10 saves as she improved to 8-3 on the season.
The Wildcats outshot Elms – which played with 10 student-athletes – 38-14 and forced 15 turnovers.
