PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The JWU (Providence) softball team swept a key Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) doubleheader from first-place Albertus Magnus Saturday afternoon on Senior Day at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex.

Jessica Forneiro laced a two-run triple to spark the Wildcats to a game one win. Sophomore
Amanda Madigan also drove in a run with a single in the third to back senior starter
Katie Scheid, who won her sixth-straight start and climbed to 12-5 on the season. She allowed eight hits and one run with two walks and six strikeouts.
