Men's Hockey upended by No. 9 UNE

BIDDEFORD, Maine – The JWU (Providence) men's ice hockey team suffered a 7-0 defeat at No. 9 University of New England Saturday evening in Conference of New England (CNE) action at Harry Alfond Forum.

Sophomore Jake Inzirillo stopped 37 shots as the Wildcats (9-11-2, 4-9-2 CNE) were outshot 44-26. The Nor'easters (15-5-0, 12-3-0 CNE) led 2-0 after one and 4-0 after two before potting three more goals in the third.

Junior Cam Martin and sophomore Chris Alexander each took four shots to lead JWU. Sophomore Harout Torosian won a team-high seven face-offs while Alexander blocked four shots.
