Madeleine Gould scored a game-high four goals for the JWU (Providence) women's lacrosse team in a season-opening 11-8 win at Salve Regina University Tuesday night in non-conference action at Gaudet Field.

Izzy Babb picked up a goal and an assist.
Connor opened the scoring with two goals in a span of 1:11 to give JWU an early lead 2-0 lead, and then it struck for six in the second behind two each from Gould and Brown. Gould threw in two more in the third as the Wildcats carried a 10-4 lead to the fourth.
Junior
Emma Glyman was credited with nine saves to earn her 40th career win. Senior
Isabella Nugent racked up three ground balls and caused three turnovers.
