Gulls deal Wildcats 2-0 loss

PAWTUCKET, R.I. – Graduate student Leah White made 30 saves for the JWU (Providence) women's ice hockey team in a 2-0 loss to No. 11 Endicott in Conference of New England (CNE) action at Lynch Arena.

The Gulls struck for a pair of goals 1:40 apart in the second period – including one power-play marker – to improve to 18-4-1 on the season (13-2-1 CNE). JWU was outshot 37-20 – including 18-3 in the first period – but played a strong third despite being held off the scoresheet, outshooting the visitors 11-9 over the final 20 minutes.
