Inzirillo stops 32 shots in 1-1 tie with Golden Bears

Torosian scores in shootout to give Wildcats extra point

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Freshman Brad Crook scored his second goal of the season for the JWU (Providence) men's ice hockey team in a 1-1 tie with Western New England University Saturday evening in Conference of New England action at Olympia Ice Center.

Junior Harout Torosian scored the only goal in the shootout to give the Wildcats (9-9-2, 4-7-2 CNE) the extra point. Senior San Band and junior Cam Martin were credit with assists on Crook's tally, which came just 17 seconds into the second period and tied the game at one.

The Golden Bears outshot the Wildcats 33-32 and went 0-for-3 on the power play. Torosian and freshman Luke Gaffney paced JWU with there shots apiece, Torosian went 10-of-18 on face-offs (56 percent), and sophomore Ryan Walsh blocked a team-high three shots.
