Azariah Harrison combined to score 37 points for the JWU (Providence) men's basketball team in a 79-60 loss to Regis (MA) College in non-conference action Thursday night at the Wildcat Center.
Harrison canned six triples on his way to a team-high 20 points (7-of-11 FG) and Baez filled the stat sheet with 17 points, seven boards, five steals and five dimes while playing all 40 minutes for the Wildcats (1-8).
JWU shot 39 percent on the night – including 50 percent from downtown (9-of-18) – but was outrebounded 51-24. The Pride held a 16-4 edge on the offensive glass and were led by Aamyr Sullivan's 25 points in 25 minutes.
The visitors shot 52 percent in the first half and led by 16 at the break (40-26). Harrison knocked down three from downtown to pace the Wildcats, who shot 32 percent from the field through the opening 20.
In the second half, the Pride opened up a 22-point lead three minutes in and finished the contest shooting 48 percent.

Colin Rice closed the night with eight points and four rebounds for the home team while freshman
De'Angelo Owens scored six and freshman
Khalil Thompson had four.
