SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – The JWU (Providence) women's basketball team improved to 8-2 on the season with an 87-39 win over Alfred University Tuesday morning in non-conference action at the Puerto Rico Tournament.
Sophomore and reigning Conference of New England (CNE) Player of the Week
Grace Jaffray led all student-athletes with 33 points on 12-of-18 shooting. Senior
Mikayla Caruso racked up a double-double with 10 points and 10 boards while sophomore
Brianne Foley collected 10 points, five steals, four rebounds and four assists.

Dino Porcic's squad which shot46 percent and forced 25 turnovers which it converted into 33 points. A total of 10 different student-athletes scored for the Wildcats, including sophomore

Gabriela D'Ambrosio (three), sophomore
Bethany Ebanks (three), and freshman
Julia Blum (two).
Caruso, meanwhile, handed out four assists while Suero snared six boards, Ebanks pulled down five rebounds, and both Jaffray and Lora recorded a block.
