HARRISVILLE, R.I. – Sophomore
Jordan Hopping scored a pair of goals to propel the JWU (Providence) women's ice hockey team to its first win of the season, a 3-2 triumph over Nichols College Friday evening in Conference of New England (CNE) action at Levy Rink.

Kylie O'Keefe added the game-winner 1:50 into the third and senior
Allyson Barry was one of five Wildcats (1-1-1, 1-0-0 CNE) to collect an assist. Sophomore
Katelyn Cardoso turned aside 27 shots between the pipes for head coach
Maddy Santore.
Hopping potted her first of the season with 3:20 remaining in the first to tie the game at one. The Newington, Connecticut native added her second of the contest at 17:26 of the second to make it 2-1 JWU before O'Keefe's marker made it 3-1 just 1:50 into the third.

Giovanna Gulinello each racked up their first collegiate assist while junior
