PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Sophomore
Brianne Foley scored a game-high 28 points for the JWU (Providence) women's basketball team in a 75-62 loss to Rhode Island College Sunday afternoon in non-conference action at the Murray Center.
Foley also registered nine boards, four steals, three dimes and a pair of blocks for the Wildcats, who slipped to 2-1 with the setback. The New Rochelle, New York native took a career-high 31 shots and also went to the line 10 times.

Julia Blum each scored six. JWU was outrebounded 54-44 and fell despite forcing 22 turnovers which they turned into only 10 points.
The Anchorwomen canned 45 percent of their shots and went 20-of-25 from the charity stripe. Defensively, the held the Wildcats – who struggled at the line (11-of-20; 55 pct.) to 29 percent from the field (23-of-80).
