PAWTUCKET, R.I. – Freshman
Brad Guden and
Zachary Brady each scored their first collegiate goal for the JWU (Providence) men's ice hockey team in a 4-3 overtime loss to Nichols College Saturday afternoon in Conference of New England (CNE) action at Lynch Arena.
Sophomore
Joseph Sciabarra also found the back of the net for the Wildcats (2-2-1, 0-2-0 CNE), who were outshot 35-19 but went 2-for-4 with the man advantage.
Sciabarra's second of the season opened the scoring 5:38 into the first. The Bison (4-2-0, 3-0-0 CNE) knotted the score at one two seconds after their PP expired, then took a 2-1 lead with a goal at 18:12.
Guden tied the score at two with a goal at 7:59 of the second before the Bison grabbed a 3-2 lead at 18:16. Brady's tying goal came with 3:39 remaining in regulation and Nichols scored the GWG at 3:18 of OT.

Cullen Hennessy all notched an assist. Junior
Jake Inzirillo stopped 31 shots between the pipes.
