Wildcats fall to No. 13 Wesleyan (CT), 100-38

EWING, N.J. – The JWU (Providence) men's basketball team was defeated by No.13 Wesleyan (CT) 100-38 Friday night in non-conference action at the Greg Grant Tip-Off Tournament.

Sophomore Azariah Harrison led the Wildcats (0-4) with 10 points and a pair of steals. Graduate student Silas Sawtelle knocked down a pair of triples and finished with eight points while freshman De'Angelo Owens finished with seven.

The Cardinals shot 57 percent, outrebounded the Wildcats 63-16, and saw five student-athletes reach double figures in scoring. They held a 23-point lead at the half (55-32) and outscored the Wildcats 45-6 in the second half.
