Azariah Harrison scored a career-high 27 points and graduate
Silas Sawtelle added 18 for the JWU (Providence) men's basketball team in a 77-72 win over The City College of New York Saturday afternoon in non-conference action at the Greg Grant Tip-Off Tournament.

The Wildcats (1-4) trailed by four at the half (37-33) but shot 62 percent in the second half (13-of-21) – including 6-of-10 from downtown – to pull out their first win of the season. Harrison – who played all 40 minutes – and Sawtelle each canned four triples on the day and combined to go 9-of-11 from the charity stripe.
JWU trailed by as many as 10 in the second half (48-38) before Sawtelle caught fire from behind the arc, draining three jumpers in less that three minutes to help bring JWU back. Later, with the game tied at 67, Harrison knocked down a jumper to give his team the lead for good with 2:12 to go.
The Beavers shot 42 percent from the field (25-of-60) and outrebounded JWU 35-31.
