Katelyn Cardoso turned aside 15 shots for the JWU (Providence) women's hockey team in a 1-0 loss to Albertus Magnus College Saturday afternoon in non-conference action at Lynch Arena.
The Wildcats outshot the Falcons 35-16 in the season opener but fell on a goal off the stick of Ellie Price with 3:56 remaining in the first period. The freshman threw a puck towards the net from the left wing boards that ricochet off a JWU student-athlete and into the net.
