BRISTOL, Mass. – Sophomore
Nevaeh Arnold picked up nine kills for the JWU (Providence) women's volleyball team in a 3-0 loss at Roger Williams University Wednesday night in Conference of New England (CNE) action at the Campus Rec Center Gymnasium.
The Wildcats – who fell 25-23, 25-20, 25-19 – saw their record move to 2-2 in conference play (11-6 overall). The Hawks remained atop the CNE standings at 4-0 (8-8 overall).
Arnold finished the match with a .400 hitting pct. and also notched two aces, two digs, and two blocks. Freshman
Vivi Mansfield collected six kills, two blocks and two digs while senior
Ajie Jagne, sophomore
Bailey Koopman, and freshman
Trinity Ricevuto all had three.
Senior
Sierra Nausieda picked up 13 digs and three assists. Jagne paced the Wildcats with four blocks and freshman
Sophia Santacroce dealt 17 assists.
