Roel Figueroa scored a team-high 14 points for the JWU (Providence) men's basketball team in a 98-57 loss at Brown University Sunday afternoon in an exhibition contest at the Pizzitola Sports Center.
Junior
Izaiah Shaw-Glen added 12 points for the Wildcats, who also received eight points and four boards from freshman
RJ Jones and seven from senior
Josh Zangerle. JWU shot 38 percent from the field (20-of-53) and knocked down 7-of-22 from behind the arc.
Sophomore
Abdoulaye Kourouma pulled down a career-high 10 rebounds to go with four points and three blocks for head coach
Jamie Benton. Senior
Chris Botolino was a perfect 4-of-4 from the charity stripe and finished with four points, as did graduate student
Mike Rogers and senior
Jonah Phang.
