Jonah Phang pulled down a game-high 13 rebounds to go with six points, three blocks and three steals for the JWU (Providence) men's basketball team in a 64-55 loss to Anna Maria College Saturday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action at the Wildcat Center.

Izaiah Shaw-Glen paced the Wildcats with 17 points as the Wildcats slipped to 3-11 on the season (1-4 GNAC). The New York native also snared seven rebounds while graduate student

Josh Zangerle each scored 10 points.
The Wildcats – who he a 43-37 edge on the glass – shot 35 percent from the field but struggled from deep, connecting on 3-of-18 from behind the arc. The AMCats (6-10, 3-2 GNAC) made 13-of-17 from the charity stripe and knocked down 38 percent of their shots, turning 17 JWU turnovers into 16 points.
The game was tied at 29 at the half before the visitors took the lead for good on a three-pointer four minutes into the second half. The lead grew to eight with 11 minutes and change on the clock, and as many as 10 with less than three minutes remaining.
