Connor Nelson scored the only goal of the game with 4:34 remaining in regulation to send the JWU (Providence) men's ice hockey team home from 'The Empire State' with a 1-0 win over SUNY Potsdam Saturday evening in non-conference action at Maxcy Ice Arena.

Jake Inzirillo turned aside 44 shots in the win – his fourth game of at least 40+ saves thus far in 2024-25 – as the Wildcats evened their record at 7-7-1. The seven wins marks the most for JWU since tallying 11 during the 2016-17 campaign.
