Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Wildcats cruise to 9-0 win at NEC

HENNIKER, N.H. – Sophomore Grace Sheehan picked up her first collegiate hat trick for the JWU (Providence) women's soccer team in a 9-0 win at New England College Saturday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action.
 
Twelve different student-athletes found their way onto the scoresheet for the Wildcats (3-0-0, 2-0-0 GNAC), who outshot the Pilgrims 46-1. JWU led 3-0 at halftime before exploding for five goals in the second half, including two by Sheehan in the opening 11:33 to complete the hat trick.

Freshman Jamie Davies opening the scoring 9:10 into the match before goals from reigning GNAC Rookie of the Week Marcie Iannico and Sheehan stretched the lead to 3-0. Freshman Rowan Garr found the back of the net in the second half, along with graduate student Madison Sanborn, sophomore Jessica Lee, and junior Katie Gallagher.

Sophomore Ava Vaughan started in goal for JWU and recorded her first collegiate win.
